WSOP deposit bonus in PA
Best of all, once you use our code for your $25 welcome bonus, you automatically receive a two-part deposit bonus.
WSOP will give you $25 for your first deposit, regardless of how big or small that deposit is.
But that deposit is also entitled to a 100% deposit match bonus of up to $1,000 with no additional code needed.
Important: This deposit match bonus is only available for your very first deposit at WSOP.com. We highly recommend that you deposit the full amount to take complete advantage of the $1,000 limit.
To clear the matched deposit bonus, you need to gain Action Player Points, or APPs for short. Gain your APPs by participating and playing in either real money cash games or real money tournaments.
- Your first $10 of your deposit match bonus releases at a rate of $1 per 10 APPs earned.
- The next $50 gets released at a rate of $5 per 50 APPs earned.
- The remainder of the bonus releases at a rate of $10 per 100 APPs.
Make sure to play through this bonus by 60 days from when you first make your deposit. Otherwise, you will forfeit any of the money that is not released.
After making that first deposit, check your account for freeroll tickets. These welcome freeroll tickets are a lucrative way to build your bankroll as they are only available to new players.
WSOP.com poker rewards
The more you play, the more you earn. For every raked cash hand or tournament you enter, earn APPs whether you win or lose a hand. The beauty of WSOP’s Poker Rewards is that you don’t need to hassle with any other types of sign-ups. The second you start making real money wagers on poker at WSOP, you start to earn APPs.
The long and short of Poker Rewards is that you can earn 2 APPs for each $1 that you contribute via rake in cash games or tournament fees. You can earn fractional APPs down to the hundredths even if you don’t contribute the full $1 for the 2 APPs.
On the last calendar day of each month, WSOP will then use your APPs to determine what loyalty status you achieve.
All about WSOP loyalty levels
Loyalty pays at WSOP. Once you achieve Bronze status, you can convert APPs to WSOP Points, which then convert to either rakeback or cashback. Also, the higher your loyalty level, the bigger your WSOP Point multiplier becomes, which means more cashback!
Just check out the table below for more information about loyalty levels, APPs needed and the multiplier earned.
WSOP Loyalty Tiers Required APPs Multiplier Earned
|WSOP Loyalty Tiers||Required APPS||Multiplier Earned|
|Bronze||200+ APPs every month||4x|
|Silver||750+ APPs every month||10x|
|Elite||1,500+ APPs every month||12.5x|
|Champions Club||20,000+ APPs every year||16x|
How to convert and receive WSOP Points
Just go to the “My Profile” tab from the lobby of your WSOP client. Then, click on “My Rewards” and to finish out, click “Convert.” Please note, there is a minimum requirement of 1,000 WSOP Points to convert. Each 100 of WSOP Points translates into $1 in cashback.
Moreover, you are required to earn at minimum one WSOP Point within six months to keep your WSOP Points valid. Otherwise, convert your points lest they expire and you forfeit any potential cashback.
Loyalty match from other online poker operators
Are you a loyal poker player at another online poker site? Well, then you won’t need to start at the lowest tier at WSOP. Did you know that WSOP offers you a chance to get a “comparable tier match request”? Simply email support with your legal given name, current contact information, your WSOP ID and at least a screenshot showing your loyalty tier status from another online poker room.

WSOP banking options
WSOP.com offers various methods to suit your banking needs and your lifestyle. Even better, WSOP doesn’t charge additional fees to your player account. However, depending on your selected payment method, there may be a fee associated with the transaction processor.
Easily access your cashier and review any banking needs associated with your online poker account:
- Make sure you are logged in to your WSOP player account either through your desktop or mobile.
- Then, click “Cashier.”
- Select your preferred banking method.
- Lastly, enter your desired deposit or withdrawal amount and verify your personal details to finish the transaction.
WSOP offers five convenient options for getting your funds online.
- Major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard or Discover
- Casino cashier cage
Obviously, there are pros and cons associated with each deposit method.
To start with, while it is super convenient to be able to input your credit card information and instantly deposit, there is a high rate of decline using this method. Sadly, this is mostly due to the issuing credit card merchant, as most transactions deemed to be gambling are typically denied in your card purchaser agreement.
We prefer PayPal, especially if you already have an account set up. E-check/ACH is also a very convenient option, although there is a slightly longer turnaround period, one to three business days.
If you are in physical vicinity of the casino, depositing at the cashier cage is a good option as well. On the other hand, even if you want to deposit cash and aren’t located in the vicinity of the casino, use PayNearMe. This method is available at 7-Eleven stores, and you can deposit cash and receive a scanned code to instantly make your deposit.
Although there are not as many options for withdrawals, we found that it was still a fast and easy process to move our funds from WSOP.
- Casino cashier cage
Please note, you are making your very first withdrawal, you will be subject to an additional verification process. You will need to validate whatever payment method you choose before the withdrawal can be processed. Once you enter your desired withdrawal amount, enter in your user ID and password along with the unique token number that you received via email.
There is a minimum withdrawal amount of $10 by ACH. At the casino cashier’s cage, the minimum withdrawal amount is $50.
If there are any further additional verification requests from WSOP, make sure to complete and send in your additional documents within 14 days; otherwise, the withdrawal request is canceled and funds will be returned to your player account.
Installation of the WSOP online poker software
The WSOP online poker software client is readily available for your desktop that operates on Windows or Mac OS. You can also choose to play on-the-go with your Android or iOS mobile device.
WSOP desktop installation
Regardless of whether you are using Windows or Mac OS, the process begins automatically from the WSOP main website when you click “Download.”
The minimum operating system requirements are listed below.
- 1.8 GHz processor
- 760 MB RAM
- 50 MB HD
- 10.6.8 Mac OS
- 2.4 GHz processor with Intel Core 2 Duo
- 4 GB DDR along with 667 MHz
WSOP app installation
Quickly download the app for WSOP.com whether you are using an Apple or Android mobile device. From the main WSOP website, click “Download,” and the process begins immediately.
Do note that on an Android device, there are a few additional steps. This isn’t due to any fault of WSOP. Once you start the download process, you need to click OK on the pop-up asking you to save the apk file. One more pop-up could appear that states www.wsop.com needs to download additional files. Make sure to click “Allow.” Finally, click “Run” and “Install” to finish the process.
The minimum operating system requirements for iOS and Android are as follows: iOS devices require that you have an iPhone or iPod Touch 4 or higher, or an iPad with retina display and iOS 6.1 or above. Android devices need at least an ARMv7/x86 processor including vector FPU, 550 MHz, Open GL ES 2.0 and 256 MB RAM. In addition, the operating system version needs to be at least 2.3.
Software review for WSOP
Here’s the thing: There are very minimal updates. The WSOP online brand is not known for many software updates. The good and bad of this is that the user interface — meaning visual aspects and overall look — just appears outdated. In some ways, you could almost say it’s nostalgic and harks back to Windows software of a decade ago.
On the other hand, the software actually works well. This means we didn’t have any real issues launching either the desktop of mobile software and were able to play poker sessions rather smoothly.
Our minor criticism is that we do have a newer Android device, and a pop-up frequently comes up that the WSOP app is “built for an older version of Android.” So the pop-up is warning us that it may not work. Usability wasn’t the issue; rather we found the pop-up a bit annoying and a minor inconvenience. Also, we would really like to have the option of being able to convert WSOP Points to cashback within the mobile interface instead of logging onto our desktop.
With the WSOP software, there are also some user options like resizing and tiling poker tables along with saving notes on opponents. We really like that we can personalize our user settings like saving our favorite games for a quick shortcut. Finally, our favorite option is being able to customize in-game settings.
On the whole, there really aren’t any issues that are noticeable. It is easy to overlook the fact that the visual interface of WSOP appears rather old school when coupled with the fact that the software actually launches and works pretty smoothly. The biggest pro certainly is that due to WSOP PA being a licensed and regulated online poker entity by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, player funds and information are completely protected and secure. The security of knowing your funds are protected is bar none.
Customer service at WSOP.com
For any additional comments, concerns or issues, the WSOP team is easily reachable 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will have your choice of several methods to reach out to the support team depending on what is the most convenient to you.
- Help desk
- WSOP forums
The best part of the customer service team at WSOP is there are actually separate customer support teams for each regulated state. This means that when you reach out, you will be speaking with a customer support agent who is solely dedicated to Pennsylvania. You won’t be speaking with an agent who is dealing with other issues in New Jersey or Nevada.
This makes customer support very quick in responsiveness and, we feel, more knowledgeable about any given issues you may face as a WSOP Pennsylvania customer.
WSOP poker games review
On a typical day, you will see enough of a player pool to support various poker games. Of course, depending on the hour and day of the week, you may see more or fewer poker games, depending on player traffic. You may even be able to find a few stud games active during peak hours if playing a lesser known poker variant whets your appetite.
In totality, multi-table tournaments (MTT) reign supreme at WSOP. Yet, don’t count out other games like sit-n-gos (SNGs) and BLAST Poker, along with the real money cash games.
MTT tournament schedule
Below, here are some of the more robust multi-table tournaments that are can’t-miss on either a daily or weekly schedule. We expect large guarantees to be established over time, due to Pennsylvania’s substantial population:
- Happening daily, look for a no limit hold ’em $10K and $15K guaranteed.
- Tuesdays host a $25K guarantee, which is the biggest WSOP tournament not counting Sundays.
- Saturdays host another $10K guarantee that hops up to $20K guaranteed on a given Saturday monthly.
- On Sundays, you have a whole host of large tournaments to play. Start with the $100K guarantee, $30K guarantee, $10K guarantee and $8K guarantee. Finally, look for a $50K guarantee happening monthly on the last Sunday.
Concerned about your bankroll? Look for various qualifiers, satellites and even freerolls to earn your way into some of the bigger buy-ins for less money.
SNG Tournaments and BLAST Poker
Sit-n-gos definitely run at WSOP PA. No limit hold ’em is the easiest to register for without a long wait period, particularly at lower stakes.
WSOP.com really does a nice job in terms of variety plus game options for the sit-n-gos such as pot limit Omaha along with Omaha hi/lo. However, the Omaha varieties run less frequently.
Also, try out the WSOP version of a hyper turbo SnG with a jackpot for up to a 10,000 multiplier of your buy-in. Once four players enter, a drawing takes place that can be for anywhere from 2x to 10,000x your buy-in. There is also the BLAST timer that determines how long you play before all players are all-in. The BLAST timer is based on the multiplier, as well.
No doubt about it here, the no limit hold ’em format is most popular in cash games, as well.
However, you can also find games like limit hold ’em, pot limit hold ’em, pot limit Omaha, Omaha hi/lo and finally, even stud. When these games run, look for them to run at some of the lower or micro-stakes.
The games of no limit hold ’em are popular to the point where you will see around 10 games running at WSOP.com’s highest stakes of $10/$20, especially during peak hours.
The future of WSOP PA
The WSOP brand is currently owned by Caesars Entertainment. Until 2010, Caesars operated as Harrah’s Entertainment.
Eldorado Resorts Inc. and Caesars are working through a multibillion dollar deal to merge the casinos under one name. The Federal Trade Commission has officially greenlighted the impending merger, meaning once it’s complete, Eldorado would become the largest US casino operator. The merged company will operate under the Caesars name, so don’t expect that to change.
In Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board requires online gambling fronts to partner with a physical casino anchor. In regards to WSOP PA, the casino would be Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack.
Finally, the WSOP software is powered by Dragonfish, which is owned by 888 Holdings. Thus, WSOP.com in NJ and NV is able to share player pools with 888 Poker, which operates in NJ and Delaware.
WSOP PA players cannot share a player pool with the other states yet. Eventually, this could happen but would require the PGCB to approve and implement a shared player compact.
